The slender shape minimizes lateral movement, resulting in light drag and reducing the physical strain of operating a big plug. It can accommodate a wide range of hook weights, and a major advantage is that it allows the use of lighter hooks that penetrate well, especially when targeting yellowtail amberjack. Of course, when targeting large tuna, use thicker, stronger hooks.
